Disco Holiday NYE party
New Years Eve Disco Party
As a new mom I haven’t seen the backside of midnight very often unless it’s for a feeding or bathroom break.
We plan on hanging in at our house this NYE and wanted a fun theme.
A super sparkle disco seemed fitting for such a night.
Here are a few inspirations we came up with to entertain ourselves this year.
Let’s get you decked out for your disco shin dig! All I have to say is discoballs and glitter are king 🙂

We loved the idea of making your own discoball decorations.

We also pulled some disco decoration ideas from our favorite Oh Happy Day blog. They have come up with the best formula for a backdrop!
Step 1: To figure out how much space you’ll want to cover you’ll need to do math! Once you figure that out you can order the Mirror board Paper. Then cut down the mirror board paper into squares. We made ours 4″ x 4.”
Step 2: To cut either use an exacto and cut a few sheets at a time or we had a friend with a cutting machine do it and it took 15 minutes.
Step 3: Lightly draw a vertical line on the wall with pencil. You’ll use this line to guide you when positioning the individual pieces.
Step 4: Apply a loop of gaffers tape to the back of each square and stick onto the wall until the wall is filled.
Step 5: If you have extra mirror board, can cover props! We decided to make a disco box.
